The following Terms of Reference, were approved at the 8th meeting of the group in Florence, Italy, February 24-26, 2003. Associate Membership shall be conferred upon persons who have made, or continue to make, a significant contribution to the activities of the IOCCG, as a form of recognition of their involvement. Candidates for Associate Membership shall normally be proposed by the IOCCG Committee and appointed by the Executive Committee. The duration of appointment of Associate Members shall be for a term of three years. Associate Members may consist of past members of the IOCCG Committee whose term of office has expired, or they may be non-Committee members who are involved in the activities of the IOCCG. Associate Membership would not preclude the member's being appointed in the future as a full IOCCG Committee member. Associate Members may attend and participate in all IOCCG Committee meetings but his/her expenses would only be defrayed by the IOCCG at the discretion of the Chairman. Associate Members will have access to all working group documents and meeting minutes and will be included in the distribution of all relevant IOCCG correspondence. About the IOCCG | Home
