Introduction
The first full day of the training course, November 2nd, was filled with information. The lecturers and students were all introduced, and the morning session, on satellite oceanography started, with lectures by Dr. Hiroshi Kawamura (Tohoku University, Japan) and Dr. Tasuku Tanaka (NASDA, Japan).
The lectures all took place in the AIT Center on the beautiful AIT campus in Klong Luang, just to the north of Bangkok.
